Athenian University is a non-profit, non-denominational, non denominational  educational institution under the idea that there is a higher power than us to which we are a part of, organized for the purpose of offering professional programs of study in all aspects of natural health. Natural health involves the integration of the mind, body and spirit in order to produce a life lived in harmony with the Creator and His divine plan for His creation. Educational programs lead to such traditional and nontraditional designations as, Exercise Science (B.S and MA),  Master Herbalist (M.H.), Certificate in Nutritional Counseling (C.N.C),  Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.), and Doctor of Quantum Science (MscD). The University seeks to preserve the knowledge of traditional natural health techniques which have served mankind for centuries around the world.

CORRESPONDENCE: THE INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING APPROACH

All work is to be completed on an individual basis which will give the candidate the maximum flexibility for study. Each course will be mailed to the student upon completion of the previous course. Courses are designed to build upon the student's accumulated knowledge. A grade of 90% is considered passing for each of the courses. The prospective
student will be admitted to the program  on the basis of past academic achievement and on the prospect that the candidate can successfully complete the course of study.

PHILOSOPHY - MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL APPROACH

The University is committed to a holistic (working with the body) understanding of man which is taught in the Scriptures. Man has a physical body, a mind (and emotions) and a spiritual nature. Only when he/she is capable of developing as a total person (physically, mentally and spiritually), is he/she capable of enjoying true health and a balanced life. The courses of study are designed to integrate the total person in a health building lifestyle.
